This time I'd like to invite you to VÁC known as the hub of the Danube Bend, this settlement is the fifth largest town in Pest County.
Boasting a rich cultural life and many unique attractions, the town also serves as the seat of a Catholic bishopric.
It developed at the intersection of major routes; the town was established here in the 13th century, a result of construction work by German settlers who arrived in Vác following the Mongol invasion.
During the day we are going to visit the city's sites with in frame of a 2- hour-long guided tour followed by a lunch at Halászkert Étterem.
Meeting point: Budapest- Nyugati railway station in front of the platforms.
